Mount Rinjani Zero Waste 2025, Hello Rinjani Hiker, of course we want Mount Rinjani to remain beautiful, right?
However, with the amount of waste left behind, that beauty can be threatened.
The Go Rinjani Zero Waste 2025 program is a joint effort to reduce plastic waste and other waste that is often left behind. The main objective of this program is to maintain cleanliness, preserve nature, and ensure that Mount Rinjani can still be enjoyed by future generations.
Before climbing, climbers MUST re-contain food and drinks that will be brought to be placed in reusable containers in order to minimize waste in the Mount Rinjani National Park area.
This program will involve the National Park Management, the Rinjani Circle Tourism Image Forum, Guides, Porters, Climbers, Local Communities and other stakeholders and partners to educate, organize, and encourage real action in making the Go Rinjani Zero Waste 2025 Program a success.
With the Go Rinjani Zero Waste Program on Mount Rinjani, we all have an important role to play in maintaining cleanliness and preserving nature. It’s not just about cleanliness, but also about sustainability for our ecosystem and our future.
