Hike Mount Rinjani 3 Days 2 Night Sharing Package starts at your homestay in Senaru Village in North Lombok. You will stay one night at our homestay. You can adventure to nearby waterfalls in the evening if you’d like as well as see many monkeys it is include on the package.

OVERVIEW THE TREK

In the morning, you will have breakfast & coffee at your homestay. You will then take a 1 hour drive to the town of Sembalun. The drive is a memory in itself as you ride in the back of a truck, wind in your hair, through the villages of Lombok.

You will begin your hike from Sembalun. Half way up the mountain we will have a filling lunch cooked by your porters. After that, we continue to the crater rim, which we will reach by mid-day. We will spend the evening at the crater rim where we will have dinner.

The following day, we wake up a 2:00am for a light breakfast and begin our journey to the summit around 2:30am. This is the most difficult part of the hike and will take a total of 4 hours to reach the summit. Once at the summit, you will notice that it is very cold! Most travelers only stay at the summit for a short time before decending.

The decent is much shorter and will only take 1-1/2 hours to return to the crater rim. You will then have a larger breakfast and take a short rest. After this, you will begin the 2nd part of the journey which is a 3 hour down  to Lake Segara Anak lake and 1 hours soak in Hotspring, and after you soak you go up to the senaru crater rim and stay one more night in senaru crater rim.

On days 3 after you having breakfast you will go walk down to senaru village but before you go down you can see the beatifull sunrise view of senaru crater rim with segara anak view. and after that you go down take 2-4 hours. after you arrived in senaru village our driver will be droped you to Bangsal Harbour.


Rinjani Trekking Sharing Packge

itenerary (start sembalun – finish SENARU)

  • Having Breakfast at 6 a.m. at the hotel
  • Departing at 7 a.m. from Senaru village to Sembalun  Village for check in at the Gunung Rinjani office
  • Climbing for 3 hours to post 1 (1,300 m) from the starting point of the climb (1,051 m), and resting at post 1 for 15 minutes
  • Having Lunch at post 2 (1,500 m). The climb from post 1 to post 2 takes 1 hour and 30 minutes of climbing including breaks.
  • During the lunch, you can see a stretch of green grassland, an area of around 6 kilometres which is located at an altitude of 1,400 – 1,700 m surrounded by hills and tropical forests.
  • Continuing the climbing to post 3 (1,800 m) after lunch (around 1 p.m.) with a travel time of around 2 hours. On the way to Post 3, you will pass Mount Rinjani Savana.
  • Taking a Rest at post 3 while enjoying biscuits and soft drinks.
  • Continuing the climbing to Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639 m) for 3 hours
  • At about 4.30, we will arrive at Sembalun Crater Rim. This place is also known as a basecamp (a place where people camp overnight before reaching the top of Mount Rinjani).
  • Seeing the beauty of Segara Anak Lake and Mount Baru Jari. Mount Baru Jari is located in the middle of Segara Anak Lake. Here, you can take photos with the background of Sangkareang Hill. Apart from that, you can also enjoy the beauty of the sea of clouds illuminated by the setting sun.
  • At 7 p.m., our guide and porter will provide dinner for you.
  • Having Breakfast at 2 a.m. and starting climbing the peak of Mount Rinjani with a height of 3,726 m at 2.30 a.m. The climb will take approximately 3 – 4 hours.
  • Enjoying the sunrise and the thin mist that covers Segara Anak Lake. From the top, you can see Segara Anak Lake, the entire island of Lombok, Sumbawa Island and Bali.
  • After enjoying the sunrise, start descending to Sembalun Crater Rim (campsite)
  • Having Breakfast and Getting ready to leave the campsite.
  • Walking down to Segara Anak Lake and the Hot Springs at 9 a.m. This usually takes 3 hours because the road is quite steep and slippery.
  • Having Lunch at Segara Anak Lake (2,008 m above sea level). After lunch you will go down to Propok Campsite for 4 Hours.
  • Having Dinner and camping at Propok Campsite
  • 07.00 : After breakfast and enjoying the sunrise prepare to walk down to Senaru village
  • 12.00 : Arrived On Lubch Spot, Lunch will be prepared on the way between POS 2 or POS EXTRA.
  • 13.00 : Arrive at Senaru Rinjani Trekking Centre.
  • 15.00 : Prepare your luggage and transfer to the next destination ( Bangsal Harbor, Senggigi or Mataram )
